Team & organization

Adding people, admins, your organization’s details and your profile.

An organization is your workspace: its numbers, conversations, contacts, workflows, templates and plan. Everyone you add works in the same one.

Adding people

  1. Open Settings → Users and choose Add User.
  2. Enter their email address and say whether they are an admin.
  3. They sign in with that email — with Google, or with a password they choose through Forgot password (the link goes to that inbox). Their account becomes active the first time they do.

Everyone in the organization sees the same inbox, contacts and workflows. An organization always keeps at least one admin: to step down as the last one, make someone else an admin first.

Your organization's details

Settings → Organization holds who the workspace belongs to: its name, email, phone and website, its address, and the billing address and tax number (GSTIN) printed on your bills.

Your profile

Settings → Profile is your display name, as your colleagues see it, and where you sign out. Your email is the one you sign in with.

Your data

Each organization's conversations, contacts and workflows are stored in a database of its own, kept apart from every other organization's. WhatsApp access tokens are encrypted and never sent to a browser. See the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long, and data deletion to have it removed.
